The device comes in three sizes, 20W, 50W and 100W, selling for $646, $1,292 and $2,452 respectively. All three have a battery voltage of 12V and take 10 hours to charge.
Maybe if your a yuppie you will buy one of these and take it camping. 2.5 Generation cells are to costly and the chemical batteries really drive the costs up some more. These cells wont take off until thin film cells are applied to the business model. I would like to have a solar cell in my trunk, but for that much. I rather keep running my car on SVO. Yuppies = Owned!
