I am an advocate of Bike Sharing & Vehicle Sharing Programs. This is a great Example of some efforts young entrepreneurs are experimenting with.
"D.C. isn’t the only city that’s getting to try out the benefits of bike share programs. This time it’s Denver, who as the host of the Democratic National Convention, is welcoming a fleet of 1,000 bikes — all to share. Brought in by Freewheelin — a joint program developed by Humana and the non-profit cycling advocacy group Bikes Belong — the bikes will be available for use by anyone in town for the convention — for free. And it’s not only the DNC that gets to take advantage of two-wheeled transportation; 1,000 bikes will be available in Minneapolis-Saint Paul for the Republican National Convention as well."
